Windows August 2025 Cumulative Update Causes Severe Performance Issues
Microsoft released updates for both Windows 11 and Windows 10 on August 12th that lead significantly reduced performance in Helldivers2. Please uninstall these updates via the steps below to restore performance.

How to: Check if I have the bad update in question
Click your Start Menu and type powershell then press CTRL-SHIFT-ENTER to launch it as Administrator.
Run the following command for your specific OS:
Windows 11: Get-Hotfix -Id KB5063878
Windows 10: Get-Hotfix -Id KB5063709
If you have one of the respective updates, you will see a message with the InstalledOn date. (See Powershell Screenshot)

How to: Remove the problematic updates
Press WIN+R and type ms-settings:windowsupdate, then click OK.
Click on View Update History
Click Uninstall updates
Find the updating matching the corresponding Win10/11 KB, select it, then click the Uninstall button.
Windows 11: KB5063878
Windows 10: KB5063709

How to: Remove the problematic update with Powershell
Click your Start Menu and type powershell then press CTRL-SHIFT-ENTER to launch it as Administrator.
Run the corresponding command for your OS:
Windows 11: wusa /uninstall kb:5063878
Windows 10: wusa /uninstall kb:5063709
Follow the on screen prompts to uninstall the update.

The Windows updates are not the issue. I'm already on an earlier version of Windows 11 from July and the system freezing has been happening ever since the Halo ODST update. It's an issue with the game

As mentioned above - store level and the amount of expansions you have (Main shop and Lot B) will increase the possible max size for the customer.

What is NOT usually noted is there is actually a minimum wallet size as well that is a static amount so each customer that spawns has a random roll of this min-max range. So there's a bit of RNG luck involved with this for the customer to spawn with enough...and RNG luck that they'll decide to look at the card in the first place.

Probably not. Some planets have Scenery items that are indestructible and untouchable, presumably for atmosphere. If you have a quest objective in/under one, the only thing you can do is reset the mission. If it is just a generic lootbox of some sort (buried tech, storage crate, subterranean mineral, and so on), just give up on that particular one and move on to the next.

The most common obstacle that people complain about is volcanoes, but I have also seen plant- and rock-type things.
