they stopped development awhile back but i saw someone made a simple mod loader at some point so maybe mods for this game will be a thing one day

pfft ...Co-Op? Multiplayer competition would be better. Identical building areas, Compete for those orders and rep. Can send stuff to other person (like trash) to fall from the chute. Only texting emoji communication allowed.

while yes, my statement was calling out someone who was being a small bratty child and calling out devs for not doing something they did not want to do.

You had gold on your hands. This game has evolved in no meaningful way from the first day I played it. It's almost impressive how little has been actually done.

It's not too late, but, it's far from early.

Sounds like your friends are what makes the game fun(ner) for you. why not chose another game that has what you all desire? so many games get into garbage quality having to implement/maintain coding for multiplayer aspects that do nothing for the games content or development.

If the Multiplayer mod(s) aren't doing it for you then you're asking for something beyond the scope of MP because MP isn't typically designed with Mods in mind.

"No difference"? Its a franchise dude. Would you expect the main gamepaly loop to change?
If you didnt know the games there is a very real chance you wouldnt put BL1 & BL4 into the same franchise.
Thats how different they are.
