I don't think the nanobot treatment affects crew, as far as I can tell, as there's no status to indicate it.

You can see what skills they have by hiring them, disabling autotask, and dragging them into a locked room (so they can't yeet themselves across the ship/station), and asking them about their skills. Select them, and you can see their skills in the available responses. Fire or keep as you please.

it let me fire my gun once during the car chase portion, but then i reloaded a checkpoint. i no longer have the option to shoot and even on horseback he wont even pull out his pistol no matter which key I press.

is there something i'm not understanding?
