Indeed, this has nothing to do with not rendered objects or glitches.
Quite the opposite: it's a collision calculation bug - the ground is displayed but the engine thinks there is no ground.

Finished the OC and MotB as a sorcerer focused on evocation and necromancy. A very solid and easy playthrough, honestly, especially towards the end.

Yah, the little colored squares on things' plates (pretty much everywhere including the tech tree where you research them) tell you which constructors you can build them in, like the ones on blocks that tell you what kind of hulls you can mount them on.

If you haven't registered how to get cobalt yet you can loot a drill in an early mission.

I'd disagree with the survival tool as the basic drill, I ditch that as fast as possible, like day 2, but when you're new I'd expect it to take a lot longer to find your way. There's a lot to explore.

kf2 has no near 6k players
have you not noticed that the number is constantly above 5k players?
have you not noticed how many empty official + community servers are in the server browser?
it's got a load of bots as many of them are running just to farm items in the game
kf3 has 3k organic players so technically, it still has more players than kf2, for now

Do note that both games exist on consoles (KF2 on PS4 and Xbox One, whereas KF3 is on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S) meaning any amount of people playing on a console can further muddy the player-count without warning; especially since there's no decent way of fetching console player-counts for most of us.
