I've been low behaviour for years, and yeah recently i built back up to nearly passing 6k behaviour,

However as i approached it the games (just spamming turbo atm as meh its just boring as) but there are a high number of crusaders and gaurdians. They seem to play random and very weird skill levels, some id rate higher and alot with in excess of 5k games etc.

But i couldn't get past 6k behaviour and have dropped back below 5 on communications reports. Albeit all i have is the chat wheel and mini map to speak go figure. But ive noticed back below 5k communication behaviour the skill level and game play is a lot higher. I mean my games are averaging legend and ancient where as closer to 6k behaviour i was average archon. Anyone let me know why this might be?

Rewards and punishment of behaviour score system

In order to have better skills you will need to critique your gameplay by self and others and most snow flakes in higher behaviour score 10k to 12k will report you if you critique bad gameplay where players below 6k will easily point that out due to not giving a ♥♥♥♥ about their score

As you have noticed that you've improved in your own ranked rank by improving through critique of your own gameplay from other players this one is important because you can't cover every dimension on your own

its the inverse relationship between behaviour score and actual skill level or gameplay
The higher up you go in behaviour score no one will ever critique you due to meta not doing that to avoid their loss in behaviour score

Being in the middle of behaviour score gives you freedom higher behaviour score echelons don't have

In order to have highest behaviour score you will essentially need to be a bot afk doing nothing no criticism etc which is not useful for you as a player to improve in this game


Lower behaviour score players will need to learn how to communicate without communicating as I have

I got kicked from 6k to 1 cuz of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ verify bug and most players who are cooperative work like machines because we can communicate without communication just simply intent or alt tab map = direction is enough to get good results for lower behaviour score

Another factor is aggressive gameplay lower behaviour score are naturally toxic and that lends to aggressive toxic gameplay and any team will get beaten by aggressive executed playstyle compared to higher behaviour score passive team playstyle as Dota 2 meta is all about brawl aggressive playstyle over the old years of turtle passive playstyle its easily seen in pro team playstyle

TLDR
Higher behaviour score players are passive, not combative, not aggressive, no critique which are not helpful for dota 2 players to improve in skill

Lower behaviour score players are active, combative, aggressive, critique heavy which is what is required for dota 2 player to improve in skill and rank
