this has been the game from the start, seeing as this is included in the first 2 chapters that were provided free, so it is very much what was promised.

sorry its not what you wanted, but like i have said: there are tens of thousands of traditional stories out there if you want a simple adventure.

but for me, and a vast majority of players, we are enjoying the games story as it is, and cannot wait to see how it unfolds.

But I will never understand how you people can just trust an unfinished work to be good. How (pardon my language) you can handle being thoroughly beaten and defiled by the game's narrative itself for so long without saying anything, and just accepting it as it is. Some new form of masochism, that's the only way I can describe it.
Is that what this is? Do you like being treated as a speck of dirt by the game's story? Do you like being forced to solve the problems your player character is creating, while the game pretends it isn't happening?

in the same way i enjoy not know what was going on in the nividison house: its a story. im not actually losing just because the character in a video game loses, if the story still progresses.

sure, we can be concerned about us not having the final 3 chapters, that is perfectly valid to be, but nothing in the story is us being "beaten or defiled" just because kris is doing things that, seemingly, are bad. rather, i am intriqued on why they are doing what they are doing, and want to see more.

rpgs are specifically about telling a story afterall, i want to see whats going on.

i have never once felt like i was being treated badly by the game, that appears to be something, you uniquely are experiencing.

an rpg is like reading a book, you're here for the story, it's not belittling you just because it doesn't tell you all the details right away, its not telling you to build suspense.

So, I was working on necromancy and the combat mechanics....

I got like 3 pulma fighters and a necromancer. by all accounts I should have started a necromantic steam roll from there. however, there was no formation control and I had no way to have my healthy people take the front while my injured people took pokes or just stayed back.

in fact, my injured people kept getting pulled to taking damage and dying.

it not only kept causing me to lose people when I should have had a solid advantage but it ended up killing my necromancer despite having several fighters.

One wolf killed like 3 of my people!

Never even mind the wolf just walked out of my combat zone when I had only fresh people to fight it.

you need to "perfect dodge" to get a skyborn might charge, if you just dodge you wont gain the charge. if thats what you mean by you never get to cast spells. just wait for your opening and youll be able to cast spells. these sort of games are basically turn based if you break them all the way down to the basics. only the enemies turns are alot longer than yours

I understand now, thank you for this! I must of misread in the instructions, I didn't realize it had to be perfect dodges to get them.

It depends on the track your on I think. My play-through was about 8 hours or so. Although I don't speed read it and I take the time to explore everything so it just depends on the track your on and how you actually play.

8 hours sounds better than 3-4 which seems pretty short especially if they said it was broken down into 3 parts. They basically made the euro trip the majority of CK1 and that game was kinda long. I’d expect this episode 6 to be almost as long as CK1 or as long as the first 2 or 3 episodes of CK2
