I am a new user and using a Mac with Steam.
I have set up freight shunting for the first time. I played the tutorial many a time for a better understanding. Playing the Prague map endless mode.
Train comes from the dock to Budny. Before hitting Budny I enter the circuit as per in tutorial.
- From Budny to the shunting area
- Reverse the train
-{missing Reuse/time delay}
-Return to platform
The circuit runs, but without the time delay, of which is not available!!! Does anyone know what if anything I may be doing wrong. Your help is appreciated.

I have over 900 hours in the game and i say its mediocre at best. It does have great things, like being a sci-fi RPG with guns and ships for example, that allows free exploration and looting places.
I think one of the glaring issues the game has is that everything feels so static despite or even because of its scale, while at the same time they sold it as procedurally generated which created unrealistic expectations. The game simply does not grow with you and your actions in the universe.
Its as if they created the stage with all its props, but then forgot to deliver the play. And then all the demanding, arrogant or hostile NPCs would have made for some great social commentary if the game felt more rewarding by acknowledging your presence and actions.

Рывков и прорывов ждать бессмысленно, а про "новое поколение" - так сие словосочетание сейчас все подряд в любом маркетинге пихают, куда ни глянь.

Другое дело, что нагромождением механик "реализма" игру могут перегрузить и сделать неинтересной, а также маскировать этим делом бедное количество контента.

К сожалению этого в данный момент и не хватает в ETS и ATS. Не хватает имерсивности. Не хватате интерактива в игровом мире. Ситуацию более или менее спасают только моды.

jokes aside, have you tried Control? I've played it a fair bit and it's a decently good story, some fun bosses and interesting metroidvania like exploration.

No, it's not. I beat DxM. Earlier AC was heavily defined by the tank controls, being mobility limited by an energy gauge where the limitation is defined by the generator, and goes to lengths to build a dystopian world ruled by corporations who hire you as a mercenary and have to gain reputation in missions to eventually get offered harder missions with much better pay.

DxM treats the basis of the designs of their mechs differently. Yes, the same guy who designed a lot of other Mech franchise designs, like for Eureka Seven, also designed builds throughout most of the AC franchise as well as for DxM. The weapon arms are far more limited and different. There are no orbital weaponry. There are no other leg types beyond bi-pedal. There are more but these are some of the key points.
