The cutscenes and missing music would be okay as the game is still EA. I mean hey, the game didn't even have SEATBELTS, and yet the game was still hyped to heaven and back.

I think the game should allow MORE broken ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ by the player, but not through the current design philosophy of skills that aren't very affected by character stat scores, which is starting to feel more like the devs wanted to make medieval dark fantasy chess and introducing RPG mechanics as a compromise to video games being a larger market.

I appreciate and enjoy the victories this game lets you have through clever positioning and effective resource management. It's satisfying and convinces me that this game has the right stuff to be really good.
Had a lot of fun doing silly combinations with lightning and dirt spells to keep enemies off of me and force them through danger zones.

But I'm suggesting something more radical: re-integrate stat scores into the attributes and mechanics, and significantly raise their caps.

It's perfectly fine if a level 5 caster is indistinguishable from the random sparkflingers out in the boonies. Early game should have you feeling very cautious.

But the very late game? Morrowind-tier nonsense would give the game some flavour.

Allow an end-game mage to have high enough willpower and perception to never fail a cast, and instantly blow random bandits' brains out with their lowest offensive spell.

Allow an end-game melee character clad head-to-toe in armor enough strength and agility to catch up on a deer without even using skills.

Allow an end-game rogue so much agility and perception they can peel a troll's hide like appleskin, before it notices they're there.

After the upgrade, my level 20 character has been changed to level 6 all of a sudden.. But she's still in the final quest.. is this normal?
