So 55 million people have at least tried out BDO and all up spent 2 billion euro. That's an average of 36 euro each. Seems plausible to me. Of course some, maybe most, drop the game fairly quickly without spending more than USD10 but some people in these forums indicate they spend a few USD100 a year. Of course whales exist but PA's income isn't necessarily completely dependent on them. Microtransactions is how the game makes money. Lots of those can add up to a lot of money, which is Karna5's point.

The article is terribly worded because it gives the impressions that there are "55 million registered online players" let me just explain there no "online" players, but total number of created accounts and that do not play anymore at all, the way Karna said it also give the impression that BDO acually have than many online players and this is what i corrected him at.
First let me just start by saying that article is old and doesn't represent the situation right now at PA studio, they just delayed the release of Edania and of Crimson Desert that was supposed to launch in NOV this year.
Their stocks and reveneu dropped considerably and dropped even more now with Edania release delay and Crimson Desert delay.
They aren't doing bad, let's just say they not doing to hot at all at the moment .

If you plant the Mentat gravity mine while in combat it becomes bugged, never triggers and won't detonate. Have to close client to reset it. FYI.

Valve tried crypto. They dropped it due to wildly fluctuating fees that could even change multiple times during a transaction and because over 50% of the purchases made with Crypto were fraudulent. Crypto ain't coming back, bro.

I have RTX 3070 and Ryzen 5600H which is waaay above minimum settings and im not getting above 60 fps at all or even 60 at that batter. Battlefield 2042 was the same during beta and after release it was better in the frame department.
