Your settings are being obsolete and change is being forced upon you. Instead of accepting that it's a skill issue, you're trying to make it into an EA issue.

Cute, but ultimately pointless: You don't see Windows XP users complaining. And you people are essentially Windows XP people.

It's literally the same ♥♥♥♥ as with TPM: Now people are in denial and are saying stuff like "TPM is fine, but secureboot is not!" but they all went through this same cycle of denial you are exhibiting right now.

i am not blaming EA. i am saying doing any kind of work for an EA game is not happening. personally, id rather just not play.

If you mean Ivy Bridge (3xxx series) than that is ancient. Those came out in 2012. It's even below the listed minimum required CPU (Intel Core i7-4790K)

Helldivers 2 is really CPU intensive game. having that godawful kernel-level anti cheat that doesn't stop cheaters doesn't help either. Last summer i was able to run the game at acceptable framerate (45-60 fps) on an RX580 with a Ryzen 5600 @ 1080 without upscaling. Now? Doesn't matter what i run this thing on. So your system is really old and the CPU is even below the minimum, but the game started to run worse too.

The performance really took another nosedive recently sadly. 5800X3D with 7900GRE and on Atuomaton City maps i can see dips below 30 fps @ 1440p

You can try turning on Async Compute in the the options, that might help to push some work from the CPU to the GPU.
