I prefer ranked because people a tend to try to play properly instead of 'its casual, who cares if I pop tribune at the start of day 2' and the 3 people who d/c on day 1 because they didn't get the role they wanted. You also need to know the game pretty well, because you WILL get called out if something isn't right, so you will need a good backup plan/ reasoning for your fake claim.

Unfortunately ranked isn't very popular because it requires way more thinking and people prefer to pros/dep on day 2 because 'funsies'

So I also want the PTO DLC. That would sweet having a nice war on jungle islands. This game's graphics will look super good in the tropical terrain with lush green palm trees and plants to hide troops in.

Listen, obviously the majority of the people here are lower, to middle lower, class and don't understand what it means to have money.

The point isn't the quality, it's the fact that poor people can't have it. I don't care if my $1,000 bottle of wine tastes like ♥♥♥♥, so long as the poors know they can't have any and they see me drinking it. That's the point. It's the message.

PC gaming is not a poor persons hobby. That's console gaming.

If someone cannot afford the $20 to play the game the way they want, because $80 is too much for them in total, then they shouldn't be gaming. At all.

They need to get a hobby they can afford, like knitting or something.

Granted, many things that cost money are quality, but not all. Some are just price gated to make sure that the poors know their place.

When I buy this game for $80 or $90 or whatever it costs (IDK because it matters not to me), it won't matter to me because spending $100 doesn't mean anything. I have money. There's no problem.

This has to be the dumbest and most ignorant argument I've ever seen to justify spending more money in order to get a complete game... on day 1. You don't get rich by buying incomplete products and then spending more money to get the compete product. You don't get rich by just spending money on anything and everything you like. You either inherit it (like you seemed to have done) or you do buy smart and sell even smarter. You obviously haven't figured that out.

I just checked Steam Store. RDR is $49.99. Standalone RDO is $19.99.

Pretty sure I paid $10 less for RDO back in November of 2024.

So not has RDO gotten a lot worse lately. They're charging more for it!

You got it for $10 less, because it was on SALE. Normal Red Dead Online price has always been $19.99, with the exception of the introductory price of $4.99. It's basic knowledge.

Generally speaking, I find it comical the biggest whiners in any organization are the ones who benefit/leeches off of the organization most. Gamers who whine most about a game spent the most time playing it while adding nothing good for the game/game creators. Just like in a business, the most obnoxious customers are always the ones who spend $2 dollars but expect royal treatment, while the big spenders either enjoy what they pay for or leave for a better experience.

If Red Dead Online were to shut down right now, the ones crying are going to be the whiners who complained of how bad the game is 🤣 That's always the case. Just look at when people get dumped, it's true. 😊
