I would recommend to him to start practicing hit confirms. One good practice I found now is to set the dummy to random block and set the block and hit reversals to the OD DP.

Go for cr.MK -> DRC and then if the low kick was blocked, go for light punch and block, if it wasn't, go for something like 5HP, 5MK, light tatsu into hard shoryuken. (assuming he uses Akuma).

What about his attitude, like accusing people who destroy him of cheating, never improving, still hard-stuck low rank, does not adapt and still fails at fundamentals?

He also is very slow and emotional, does not understand why people hate the broken crutch!

I think this is his real problem.

Maybe he doesn't improve because this game is not his sole focus? Hard to say, but I am happy you care for your friend. He is the closest thing to a friend you ever had?

Today people are crying to much. Guess you do not remember or do not know what was original G1 was about and what combat system and graphic it had. Lets not forget Archolos who was for me game (not mod) of the year with what gameplay and graphic.

The funny thing is that we dont have any problem with OG combat mechanics since they are clearly superior to the current state of reemake.

They said that they want to add something from Alkimia, not just remaking so they've added - ♥♥♥♥♥♥ hitboxes, stupid ai + lightning/shadows like in 1990 game.

My demo feedback

*The camera movement felt a bit stiff, a light smoothing ramp whenever you start panning would probably fix that in addition to a higher framerate
*There is a lack of overall resources change indicators, ie averaged increases and consumption. I get that's this is not a large industrial game ANNO style, but it could be annoying once you really start to produce and consume more
*As said, no way to handle fatigue on a case by case basis, I guess it's supposed to be handled by changing rotations, I feel the game is kinda in between between fine micromanagement or not. For instance, Against the storm is game that explicitely encourages swapping people on the fly.
*graphically I was kinda underwhelmed, because the visuals are really drab. I get that the setting is grim, but I expected to be able to admire more this interesting tree settlement, but all the textures are in the same tones, and at night, the lighting is minuscule, which mean that most of the time we just see a large sea of browns and blues. And it's a pity.
It's important to remember than city builders are most often seen at a distance and should look gorgeous if possible at this scale. In most cases, buildings themselves and their shadows create pretty readable silhouettes, but here, since the building stand on wooden platform or agains the trunk, it is not the case.
