Their opportunity to use this IP was to make an entirely new game with the job system. The vast majority of people who like this game like it primarily for the battle/job system. They goofed. This game is not expected to sell much, and that's why they put little budget into it.

Go on nexus and check out the mod categories for the game while you start a new game. By level 10 or 15 you will know what kind of mods you want to see in your game. Since adding or removing serious mods mid game is a disaster in the making, you will need to start again. By the time you get done with this play through you will be ready to load the game up with the mods you wished you had gotten before. Pretty much the path we all took.

real question..the chrono zen adapter mentioned by OP.. Cant you just plug a mouse and keyboard into the console now days. What purpose dose this controller adapter serve...back in the day id understand but now ?
