I never got to play the old build, I just started and my feelings on the game are positive, but seems all my negative thoughts on the game are whatever it was I felt from this latest patch. It doesn't feel like a rhythm game if attacks can't be cancelled. I feel like I'm constantly rushing or dragging.

I mean I have never seen a game at least not necessarily break mods unless it was changing things specifically.

Like just to give a rough example helldivers 2 the audio mods almost never break and they broke recently because I'm assuming they changed something with the audio files but it still broke, but something as simple as in my case the tool belt breaking how did it even happen.

I mean I'm pretty pissed that I wasted two whole days building an outer wall for my base and then they release this update and I load into it thinking nothing of it cuz I didn't even notice and I get thrown errors then I revert the patch and then I still have to start over.


Like yapping aside it's time to pack it up for them mods are doing more for the game than they are and it's very glaring that fun pimps don't care at this point in time they're just going to do what they want even if we don't want it.

Welcome to modding lol. Rimworld goes through this constantly. If you dont want your saves to break disable your auto-updates. Its easy enough to do. Go to your steam library page, right click the game, properties, Betas, choose 2.1 or 2.0 stable and chill on that until you decide to update further between runs. Latest version or none will make it auto-update when a new update rolls out.

Mods are gonna break with updates, this is literally just how it is to mod games. You can either learn from it, or keep facing the same problem not only with 7 Days to Die but other games in the future. Because this particular issue is user error.

I tried to play Grounded 1 the other day since Grounded 2 just released into early access and basically all the mods for that game are broken lol.

Yeah I know and I did I just have to start over because honestly I had to do that with a different game cuz with the same exact reason but what gets me right is it was only one mod that broke which is weird when every other one I have didn't break but I'm going to be keeping it on 2.1 for a while like I do with a different one.
