34 hours of play in and outside of the playable zone.

Overall good impression, the initial rail/factory setup and recipes are good.
Searching for items is enjoyable anecdotally as I enjoyed exploring.
Survival mechanics Degeneration felt good, the rupture also good along with managing time to go explore immediately after rupture (POI's and Caves)

As this is PT here's my feedback on improvements and balance changes that ought to be implemented.

Base
Machines should have an available input craft like storages (small qol)

Rails - Specifically v2 and multirails were very bugged - Collision, Dead Rails. There's no good solution here, mostly just bug fixing.

Exporting off base from other cores, rails will end up backlogged and gummed up with sushi rails over long distance to inventories. Solution: Rail segements cap at X number of single item or code the inventory pull request to pull request across the whole rail from previous inventory and have it chunk loaded.

More Rail variations (assuming this will be in EA) - We can build and have connections higher but not lower, id like to see connection points on connectors along the Y axis.

Defense - Turrets need to be auto-loadable through a rail or adjacent inventory.

Balance

Food recipes are terrible for the most part, either base food ingredients need to give less return or better ratios for crafting. Food quantities on gathering especially the rarer glowcaps and quartz in cave should yield more since theyre time sensitive.

Gun damage feels good (Excellent audio work and gunplay), Warbonds are very sparse even outside the playzone blue wall.

Grenade cool down seems to be too long.

Mortar bugs (especially outside the wall) are too numerous, should be capped at 5 max or have them not shoot if they dont have ling of sight. Frustrating and unfun to deal with.

Big Armour bug has no counter play that I could see / doesn't get distracted by grenades, EA should have tools against him.

Exploration

Awesome environment, however all the small rocks causing collision make the play frustrating and a stamina management simulator.

Radiation - Completely unclear mechanics with no visual - consider adding stacking to the screen to simulate radioactive interference so we can navigate the zones. (assuming there will be a suit upgrade or something).

Caves should remain open once you explored them and shot the Vine Heart.

Looking forward to seeing the Orbital Cannon dungeon spent an hour walking to it, spent another hour trying to build to get into it but alas it was too tall, the audio work sounded really awesome.
