I use mouse steering and acceleration when I can’t be bothered using my G29 setup. Never in my long gaming life would I think it would work, but it does superbly.

Capcom is legitimately tanking its reputation by STILL not having fixed MH Wilds performance. I went from buying every MH released from the last 15 years to not playing Wilds at all.

I was just having this issue. EA's dumb anticheat was misflagging some software as cheating software.

For me the fix was to uninstall the MSI Gaming App. It thought a folder named "hotkey" in the apps file system was something it needed to block.

Personally, I would approach it differently. I'd start upgrading the current explorer ship. Better warp drive (produces more power), better shields, better weapons. Start picking off light fighters as @Oakshield suggests.

Upgrades will produce immediate results and increase the value of your ship for trade-in later. If you try not to spend money and wait until you can buy a new ship you're likely to struggle and get frustrated. I think $3m spent on upgrades is a better approach than spending $3m getting a new "starter" ship.

Alternatively you could start a new game and choose "Bounty Hunter." Might be worth doing even as an experiment to let you try a different ship and see how you like space combat. Keep your current save, but start a new game, choose bounty hunter, and skip the prologue. You should find yourself on the station which you can then exit in your new starter ship (Mace AK-7) and take it for a test drive!

I'm another one who can't log into the game. How are we supposed to sign in when the Microsoft Log In box wont let you type anything into it? The Microsoft Log In box works fine except for when trying to start this game
