Galactic harvest is a good mod, the only downside is it seems to break the vanilla food buff, after eating any of the mods food, you can no longer sate your hunger to remove the hunger debuff. Only the mods food works. But for some reason the vanilla game drinks continue to work.

But I actually have a update pending for TG Galactic Harvest, so perhaps that's been fixed now, I'm not sure. The only reason I've not updated it yet is because it says it requires a new game or ng+ or deleting every instance of the equipment because it uses new form ID's.

I plan on updating it soon when I go to the next ng+.

If the killer proxy camps you they are allowing 3 other survivors to do gens. It is also unlikely the killer will even successfully camp you out of the match in any considerable amount of time that would give them any good leverage for the rest of the match.

Second one is phenomenal in terms of narrative. In terms of progression, it's appalling. Without a guide, it will take you multiple runs to get to DLC3, and that is assuming that you win the double 50/50 when choosing to rewatch the prologue of the game. While the narritive is outstanding, the progression is terrible.

Just because a game is good does not make it perfect. In my opinion, the blind first run is the most valuable, and in that regard, BS1 left a stronger impression.

Oh, really? I got hidden route and ending G after my second run - so I got access to DLC3 on my third run.
It was quite simple, really. First run I went in blind and kept my sen up. Second run I went 0 sen and that's where you get EVERYTHING you need for ending G - and thus, for unlocking DLC3. I did the entire DLC2 on my first run, too; ended up on floor 1000 but after that I found out it resets in each cycle lol
Once you get ending G, the game spoonfeeds you info how to get to DLC3.

Uhhh, what? Don't tell me you ended up SKIPPING prologue after your first cycle? Wooow! How about picking a different Alice to keep it fresh, instead? And the snowman in Carroll River (if you have 0 sen) tells you not to pick an Alice at the start.

Ok, interesting. I had a pretty damn successful blind first run of BSII so it still ended up leaving a stronger impression on me than BS1. Regardless, the hidden route + DLC3 + Ending H blows the entirety of BS1 out of the water imo.
While it may be nice that you can get ALL endings in a single run of BS1, I find BSII's restriction of only one (A,B,C,D,E) ending + either F or G + H ending per run to better fit the whole cyclical nature of Wonderland in an immersive way.

Lastly, I find it amusing that you'd consider BSII inferior simply because it's progression isn't as ♥♥♥♥♥♥-proof as the first game's. You have only your own low attention span, possible lack of common sense AND failing to keep multiple saves (something the game HAMMERS into your head multiple times btw) to blame for any failures in unlocking the true end. Simple as that :BMW_GLASSESPUSH:

Anyway, no. The sen manipulation, the 4 hidden rooms, sparing the pixie, and not skipping the prologue (you can choose an alice by skipping it btw) is just so much ♥♥♥♥ to do in a singular playthrough. Just the hidden rooms alone would take multiple runs to figure out, just to then take the 50/50.

We're not talking about "difficult", we're talking about ATROCIOUS game design. That is what it is. From a lore-stand point, I get it, it makes sense. From a gameplay standpoint though? It is terrible. Mabel and DLC3 carried the second game, the base game experience is not all that great: either do it over and over by yourself, or follow a guide and lose the "mystery" of figuring it out yourself.

Back to topic: No, BS1 does not need a guide to get the true ending. BS2 does, it's too much ♥♥♥♥ to figure out in your first blind run.
