Benefits of food decreasing from the moment you ingest it is dubious design in my opinion. And it adds up with other decisions, like food not lasting long enough or the 50 minutes food being totally uninteresting, especially considering how much they cost. I get that such decisions set Valheim apart from other games in the genre, that the game wants to be "brutal". But they quite often confuse "brutal" with "tedious".

That's actually how your digestive system works IRL... but that aside...

Ive watched some player streaming their blind playthroughs on youtube and lots of players make this mistake. Its a misunderstanding of the food mechanics not the game's poor design. This guy I watched was waiting till his food had like 1-2 minutes left before eating while in the infested mines. And was cursing and swearing *bleeping game* that he was getting wrecked by the seekers. Pro Tip.. The IMs are the most dangerous areas in ML save for the queen's arena. Like you said, its narrow so you cant maneuver well. I make sure when I enter a mine I am well rested and topped up on the best food. And later when I am able to get the ML food I save my best foods for the mines no matter what. If any of my foods are blinking in the mines.. I eat no matter what.

There will be 2 DLC for this game. First DLC is coming out in August 20th or 25th I can't remember. 2nd DLC is coming out next year. I think it will be summer 2026.
First DLC will have 4 chapters in it and 2nd DLC will have 3 chapters in it. So, together, for the story of Black Myth-Wukong, there are 13 chapters in total. Oh, these two DLC will feature Buddha and the Heaven King (king of kings so to speak) but I don't know who will be featured in which DLC. The only bad news is that they may not be free.

I don't mind its not free though, its technically a whole game in it with that chapter, and probably not dlc if that is the case?

Sounds awesome! I don't mind paying for it. We definitely got out money's worth with the original release. 10/10 in my opinion. Can't wait for the expanded story.
