I have had enemies like the Gravedigger / Executioner freeze for about a split second and come out of it. I've also had them simply ignore the freezing.

All you really need to do is dash dance around him if you time it right.

I get diminishing returns but ignoring the first spell has to be a bug. Especially if it works other times.

FTL is a difficult game. All of the choice-based encounters (or almost all) have an option to ignore and continue, thus avoiding the possibility for bad things to happen. If certain equipment, weaponry, or augments are installed, then many of these encounters offer a blue option that can lead to a more favorable result (in general).

The FTL wiki includes a very comprehensive list of encounters and results of any chosen options.

Hello! I have the same issue but using steamdeck with mouse and keyboard attached and when i am starting the game, the mouse is gone and i can highlight and click stuff but i can't see where it is. Anyone found that problem with steamdeck/linux devices?

We’re preparing full support for playing on a docked Steam Deck with a monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Right now, it’s still in testing, but once the feature is ready, we’ll share an announcement so you’ll know it’s available.

I used to be able to play with m&k with docked SD but now can't, but at least now I know why. Will waiting for the support, thanks for the update

Releasing the Soundtrack containing everything from the Music Player would be awesome. I'd pay a few bucks for that
