Seen this too - only things I've noticed is don't place signals on merge points - if you have no choice - try rebuilding - like previous suggestions - make it a single track - then split.

Or short track sections.

Check the block coloring to show what it sees to confirm you're not losing your mind.

My number one gripe however isn't the looping - but the inability of 180 flipping the damn things on command.

I have to brute force them to cooperate - its very annoying.

(I run mono-directional rails on a shared network - so signals need to face the correct direction - I end up placing one facing the wrong direction then placing one opposite and it flips to the correct direction - its kind of stupid honestly - but I make it work)

Grathagis gave a good answer, but there is one other thing that he missed. If you detect a relic outside of your scanner range, it will show a relic icon on the edge of your scanner in the direction you detected it. If it no longer shows it, you only detected it for a second and you missed the detection.

I know this is like 10 months old, but I think you could take the Cauldron, fill it up with ink, paint it whatever you want, then take the heat you want to change the color with in your hands then use it on the cauldron, then boom dyed gear. Just thought of that because there is no use for the cauldron besides decoration

Before the bf6 beta 2042 worked just fine(325 hours in), played the first day of the bf6 beta (7th) for ~ 8 hours not one studder, lag or crash.

On the 8th or 9th they did "maintenance" (BF6) and since that point, the beta exhibited the same problems : ie black screens and system hangs.

Today I tried to play 2042 (quite a few times), and would get the black screen system hang (same as in the bf6 beta).

The basic common thing between those 2 games is they both use the same anticheat, so I figure that's the culprit.

I tried :
- Updated bios
- Formatted and reinstalled windows and 2042 fresh on the 17th (yesterday to try to play bf6 beta).
- reinstalling the anticheat, running it as admin(game exe and anticheat exe), putting it in exclusion from defender (I even ran a clean boot with only ea services running).
- Tried ddu and 5.77 nvidia also.
- did all the control flow, exploit settings/fixes
- MemTest
- Stress tested CPU,GPU,MEM,PSU.
- Overlays on/off (steam/nvidia)
All with no luck.

This is also a brand new install, literally days old mind you.

EDIT: I just got 3 more crashes and paid closer attention to my event viewer, and every time before my pc hung and reset there was an entry for "eaanticheat".

It's not an error tho, which is why I didn't see it before. It's just an information log.

I'm pretty sure it's the anticheat, no idea how to resolve tho.

might i ask if any of people who crashing is EA Play subscriber? i'm just grasping at anything now

I have done all that stuff too, basically brand new install...

1: Lights Out Mode: makes all the beds fallen down and scattered arond and just average stuff
2: Season 1 Mode: removes the O and X on the bottom
3: Finalists Mode: removes almost all the beds and adds the checkered floor in the middle
4: Game Over Mode: Removes all beds and the money piggybank is at the center of the room now
5: Custom Bed Counter [likely not possible but still]: Allows you to set the number of beds in the dormitory to whatever you want, from 0 to [probably] around 200

not sure if the source engine will allow all this or something but i figured why not see
