Yes, I saw your profile. You don't know how to level up on Steam? It's very easy. You need to make the community ambassador badges. Just click on it, and everything you need to complete will appear. Even if you don't reach level 10, make a badge with collectible cards. Look at the ones you have and complete it with all of them. Just check the badges. I hope I helped you too ;)

You get an Autophage Settlement automatically while you progress your first settlement, it comes up as a quest and points you right to one.

Keep your first settlement, put it on some of the produce to get extra produce. Solanium+Frost Crystals for Heat Capacitors or Cactus Flesh+Star Bulbs for Poly Fibre. You could do worse than getting a couple million passively per day, and who knows maybe later on, you might slow down in your logging on and getting that once per day thing could be decent. Or you know, if you spend a week away from the game you could log on and find 6-7 of them waiting.

Yeah, but those quest settlements are always randomly selected right? I'd rather pick one myself on a nice planet if I'm going to be spend any amount of time there. Afaik it requires farming void motes to buy a chart but I'd rather do that than teleport into a storm every time I visit.

Mind you I'm not going to drop my current settlement until I've gotten to my max four anyways so until then I'll probably do something similar in the mean time.

I suppose I just got lucky and mine happened to be on a frost planet that only occasionally has storms. I'd say and see what the freebie ends up being, and if it's not desirable then just grab a different one.

My Gek settlement, at first I wasn't sure about because it was on a radioactive planet.

HOWEVER, I discovered there's a silver lining to that. If, at any time I go there and it's storming (I don't know when they did this, but apparently now during Radioactive Storms, your MT has increased yield), there's a crapton of huge plants and rocks. With that + optical drill, means I get THOUSANDS of Ferrite, Carbon, Oxygen (the plants there are Carbon + Oxygen), and Salt within 2-3 minutes.

I have a full stack of each on the freighter, lol. I don't have to ever mine for that stuff ever again.

not rage bait, i am genuinely asking.

They are adding it in, it's not exactly an easy task to push the old models and textures to a new game with changes to the game engine.

I think it's more of a priority to make content and clean up the existing game and balancing it before adding in cosmetics.
