Starting to think you guys don't actually give a sht about the game, the games functional, it's a fighting game not a graphic novel, parasouls armband doesn't prevent her from using projectiles, phylias underwear isn't baring you from doing quarter circles, most of you don't even play this game professionally and a lot of the people who do can't even begin to give a sht.

I'd like to support the option for subtitles sooner rather then later as well.

Yeah, this plays nothing like BF3.
It has some elements of BF4 combined with COD Ground War.
It favours run and gun close quarters fighting with almost zero tactical gameplay.
Suppression mechanic may as well be entirely absent with how soft it is, which means that there is no reason not to sprint out of cover if your reflexes are fast enough.
The game does feel smoother which is fantastic, they just need to balance the game and not be afraid of separating itself from the game everyone is begging them to be nothing like.

The Terrain Update is already developing the game in that direction: So far, we could just plop down a Deep Miner (plus Centrifuges, Sorters, Stackers, Silos, etc.) to get automatic mining going. But now, what a DM yields is regional. So you have to travel there first - and create an outpost. That's a soft (but pretty strong) emergent campaign task that takes a lot of time to achieve. Thankfully, the small Rover is back in the game, so we can drive. A Shuttle is also being tested (Only available via console command.), but there's no guarantee it will be in the game.

I am convinced the Terrain Update is the starting point of steering the minds of the players and of the developers more towards what you're asking for: Missions. Campaign.

So far, indeed making a survival box with energy, oxygen, plants, is where one could just stop playing. The push for convenience and automation is very soft, and I also have a problem with that. Devs said, missions/tasks are somewhere on their plan, e.g. we may have to create a hotel-like installation or have to babysit researchers.

Btw., there will be a Terraforming Expansion once the game hits V1.0 (Which is still years away - and after which the devs will definitely keep working on the game, they keep saying that every opportunity they get.), and this expansion is already very far in development.

Someone sounds jealous with that comment.
