You might also check your firewall settings, maybe EAAntiCheat is blocked there.

any clue how to resize the window once its in windowed mode?
clicking on any area of the edge will lock the cursor to the inside of the game window

And you said i have 51 cheater banned, based on your beloved csstats. And this crap source says last one was June 9th, previous at April. It's August, if you didn't notice, and my games are pretty fine for months.

Btw, having in some match a guy who was banned later doesn't mean at all he was cheating in that exact match, you know?

Hi, I played this game like 3 or 4 years ago, finished forsaken main quest (where cayde is killed), wish-ender raid, etc etc, then stopped playing.
And, just recently, I've started to play this game again, new account, new start. And, everything is extremely confusing right now, there's so much things to catch up. My question: is there a way to access those past quests? like the first cabal boss fight and the one where cayde was killed?

If you are hugely into exploring and building bases, then you probably already get a lot of playtime, depending on your playstyle of course. if you just rush through the "tech tree" and story, its probably just a few hours so far.

Let's talk about DBD's disastrous state*...*
For the past two years, the game has been plagued by a HUGE number of issues and bugs that are impossible to ignore.

EVERY single one of the 40 Killers has at least one critical bug, and some - like Wesker, Ghoul, Houndmaster, and the Knight - have DOZENS.

EVERY new system is added with bugs or gets disabled entirely. Take Go Next, for example, which was removed on DAY ONE because it punished players who died too quickly - thanks to tunneling Killers.

Even new LICENSED characters are released in a terrible state, full of bugs (the Ghoul, for instance, is STILL not fixed).

And on top of all that, every new patch introduces even more problems, making the situation worse.
The new Walking Dead Survivors are also "polished" to perfection.

And who could forget Michonne’s voice lines? When she’s hooked, you can literally hear BHVR’s devs talking in the recording booth.
Oh, and for over a week now, the loading screen has been showing the new lobby's UNFINISHED WIREFRAME MODEL – and it STILL hasn't been fixed.

You’d think most players would be up in arms, demanding the devs actually fix their game.
But for some reason, the majority - especially content creators - stay silent and turn a blind eye. Only in the past week have people started speaking up.

And here’s the kicker: I haven’t even mentioned the BIGGEST issue, which has been around for years. BHVR has done NOTHING to address it.

CHEATERS... They ruin the game completely - either by dominating every match, holding players hostage for hours until the server shuts down, or overloading shaders so that everyone drops to 1 FPS, leading to a server crash and temporary bans for all players. (At least DC bans are disabled now.)

If you’re a streamer or content creator, you’ll see this in EVERY SINGLE GAME if the cheater recognizes your account (screenshot).
It’s nothing but pure disappointment...

It is almost inevitable Valve will someday accept stable coins and other payment forms outside the current system anyway.
Cheaper for them. Cheaper for customers. Less hassle. Less support to banking cartels who have been siphoning off the wealth of citizens globally for decades.
Why wouldn't they?
They don't need to make their own currency but they could.

That so many gamers have no understanding of what is happening in the financial system is crazy to me. Things change.
Current system was built to fail while making a few rich in the process.
It was never designed to last.

Really enjoying this game, the basic concept and setting is great. Found it through a random Twitch streamer - very happy I did!

Some thoughts on game design and balance. I may edit this post as things go along.

1. Upgrade stations are way too few. I can do a full run with basically just one upgraded card. Cards like the basic "shield" card is super weak later on and really needs an upgrade. An idea would be to have the stations that give new cards have the option of upgrading for an additional cost.

2. Grit and Feral are too weak. They should be 10% per stack, not 5%. That would make it genuinely valuable to stack them.

3. The enemy with antlers is too hard. I had it smack me for almost 200 on turn 1 on an easy run.

4. It's not at all clear how alert level affects enemy strength. Does it even? Would be nice if enemies started at "base strength" at alert level 0, and then for each alert level they would be predictably stronger.
