I did everything that is floating around here. Admin, injecting the launch platform dll from previous 1.0.6.2 into plugin folder of my 1.0.6.3 Frosty, DataPathFix, FrostyFix installing an offline version of the last stable Origins client, trying to start the game with just two light mods (to check if it finally works)... starting it through steam, frostyfix, frosty mod manager, ea desktop app... NOTHING! It just won't work! 6 hours of labour for nothing. I will have to play vanilla I guess.

I also had no luck with newer versions. The solution for me was to continue using my working 1.0.6.2 version. It works perfectly.

Well...all I can say is, I've been using 1.0.6.3 since it popped, I've changed up my mods several times, and have had no issues.

Not trying to say you're doing anything wrong, but it would very much surprise me if Frosty were the issue.

Thanks! Would you consider some crowdfunding options or volunteers? I would also offer your team an experiment to ask AI agents to promote the game on Twitter and attract there players, it may work during few months and give a boost

I don't play battlefield games but I've been considering it given how cheap they are so I decided id try this to see if I like it. Quick download later I open the exe and am met with a quick jab to the teeth. ENABLE SECURE BOOT IF YOU WANT TO PLAY.

A third party kernel driver AND changing my bios for this? Well I've gotten this far, might as well play along.

I open the game again, EA giggles to itself, now delivering an uppercut to the jaw. MAKE AN EA ACCOUNT AND LINK IT TO YOUR STEAM IF YOU WANT TO PLAY.
If I knew this I wouldn't have bothered.. Fine. temp mail + the most offensive name allowable past the filters. WE SENT A CODE. INPUT IT.

That they did not. I got a generic "WELCOME TO EA!" but there was no code included. After 10 god forsaken minutes of googling and trying to figure out what it wants from me as soon as im about to give up I see an email show up in the temp mail site. It's my verification code. 10 minutes late.. The ♥♥♥♥?

I FINALLY login, go past a setup menu and as im thinking that this will actually pay off even a little I see EA in the corner, innocently smiling at me. The game decides it's the perfect time to start precomputing shaders and spam my f12 key at the same time.

As this absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ was happening I thought wow, I've never had a game take a screenshot on my behalf before, let alone spam me with them in a menu. How can you possibly ♥♥♥♥ this up? It's honestly impressive.

Shaders compiled within 2 minutes, the screenshot assault stopped. I'm finally here. I check my settings, It's on low thats fine set it to ultra.... restart because the game is coded by... whatever. Time to play at last!

I click on play, turn to EA and ask them where the game is. And they look back, forceably opening my steam overlay for the 50th time giving me a stupid little pamphlet about how cool it's gonna be when im eventually allowed to play the thing. Days from now.

This feels like being invited over by somebody you barely know to hangout only for them to come up behind you and cave your skull in with a baseball bat. I WAS TOLD THIS IS A PLAYTEST. WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥ IS A PRELOAD ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I didn't download a preload and I sure as hell wouldn't have bothered with any of this if I knew. Maybe im an idiot but when it gives me 2 separate date ranges in the store page and tells me "here playtest it now instead" I expect to be able to playtest it now else why would it be there?

Thank you battlefield and thank you EA. I Am NEVER going to interact with any of your games unless it's via piracy with all of your stupid tagged on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ declawed and REMOVED.
