so game releases in less than two weeks...no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ price....no ability to preorder...im good. this whole process of long development, and lack of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ information the whole time is a massive turn off.

Photo animation? Adjustable train speed? Curtains and plants SWAYING due to movement? And the Steampunk theme! There was absolutely no reason to go this overboard on the DLC and you did anyway. I am blown away by all the details you put into this. <3

And, you ain't gonna "reverse out of its blast" on a slow ass dread. Well, unless its timer is a lot longer than I remember, but I also thought they used ammo so my memory could be wrong there too (probably confused them with missiles, been years since I made either). The rest of my point stands.

if anything, large explosions are only good for abusing physics jank, which stacking size 1 rapid-fire orbs do far better on. otherwise its friendly fire (which ignores friendly fire option) just causes more headache if you're running a fleet, which I imagine is not something you're just gonna avoid doing while using a fat dreadnought. Also it's really easy to surecrit with torpedoes. in fact, weapon being surecrit itself is just waste of a good dedicated gunner crew

yes I can. if you don't have the pilots or equipment to do so, you can just shoot it while moving slightly forward and stop with a brake. braking in this game ignores other physics properties and applies a flat acceleration

ya but beams have a lot less dps. Say you build a quantum with 3k DPS. Now, you have 60 enemies on screen. You're doing 180k DPS. I'd love to see your Beam ship do that...

Has anyone tried creating a semi-linear story?

I've recently started reading the Resident Evil books, and I can't get the idea out of my head that I'd like to be in the months following the Raccoon City catastrophe, from the first instances of apparent cannibalism to when the virus was already evident. Those events have a lot of things in between that I'd like to see happen regardless of what my character does.

The obvious answer would be the database, but the game tends to ignore it. I can't find a way to mark certain events so the story keeps moving and doesn't become chaotic.

I need some advice, maybe I'm doing something wrong?
