Abyssus is... eeeh... shallow? I mean there isn't much to this game yet, very low number of weapons, cosmetics to unlock which are pretty tedious. The game has 13 or 15 levels? Which is a lot and bosses become a bit frustrating.
It feels better with friends but it doesn't change the fact that there isn't a large number of builds, far from it.

I think deadzone is in the same state as abyssus, pretty new and lack of content.

Deep Rock Galactic is another solid pick which brings a lot of fun though solo is a bit meh, better to join rando and have fun doing stupid things.

Witchfire is also pretty good, pure solo and pretty amazing but the begining is realy frustrating. The maps are also pretty cool and quite a few secrets / puzzle to uncover, not a ton of builds but eh, at least you get to make one. (it can also get pretty insane)

Soulslinger is also a solid pick, you make your build on the fly with what you get at the end of each fight, number of builds is okay, the voice acting and npc really impressed me here.

I have gotten many good hours of gunfire as its a cheap game and often on sale, but they have completely vomited live service content and seasons and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ into the game to try and keep it fresh which is a huge reason i have no desire to play it anymore.
