I know for certain that all the whining in the Doom forums didn't fall on deaf ears. Even a dev that answered to some of these questions. They made the choice to ignore that whining and keep doing what they planned on doing. Which was to preserve the game in it's original form while providing original content with a few bells and whistles of their own. They gave you people a listen, they simply choosed to go a different way. Stop crying.

In the time you took to type those comments, you could have a whole modding setup installed by now with all of the features you want. Except maybe the new stuff because GZDoom didn't update or something. (I wouldn't know given that I play mostly vanilla compatible / limit removing stuff.)

RQ slows down the ability to find matchs, its a proven fact, just look at Overwatch. 15-20 min to play a DPS while Tank and Heals only have to wait 1 min. Hows that fun?

It's a team based game. It's a competitive game. It's a game that requires communication. Having a team who knows how to play and communicate is much more fun vs having a team who insta locks dps, doesn't communicate, and throws. Learn the game. Learn more than 1 role. Most of all learn not to be toxic and try and help your team mates learn if you see they are clearly new or just suck.
