However, the spin glitch did lead to another one where the hitbox for the jump attack was still active while walking around. You would just use a skill while spinning and you can move around while the jump attack hitbox is still active. This would be more problematic as you can just run up to the player and hit them really fast, but shielding or using another skill would cancel it, so I'm not sure how effective this would be after all.

yea same, though the (glitch?) where you spin in place in the air still works. You do it by right clicking the window bar at the top of windowed mode while mid jump attack. You can just open the menu and quickly right click the bar at the top of the window. It's pretty precise to do but it still does damage. Been a thing as far as launch at least, probably earlier as well in the itchio days. Once saw a whole lobby do this to colossus and it shredded him lmao (this was before the big update so he was still squishy in a party of lots of people).

In this case, I think what I described is perhaps both "weirdly" and "adjacent".

It's strange for something like that to be hot (but things that are strange are usually strange because they actually do fit a category that you wouldn't expect them to), but also... I think it's more of a case of : what I described is actually adjacent to something that would be "weirdly hot" therefore not actually "weirdly hot" but just "very similar" to something that is.

This is kind of like what Rob talks about at the start of the "deadly truth" video where he talks about the tendency to anthropomorphize (and also relate to things we know, in addition to anthropomorphizing [...that's not a fun word to type twice...]) and the stamp collector A.I. story.
When people say that "it's a thing that has wings and flies" people tend to think of a bird, but a supersonic fighter jet is not actually very much like a bird and it's also a threat to you in a way that no bird could ever be.

Coral snakes and King snakes are perhaps more "adjacent" to each other.
They look very similar but one of them is deadly venomous and the other is... not.
I used this as a metaphor in a new topic that I once got banned for, for being too "off topic" ...in the "Off Topic" forum....where I was asking for advice on how to avoid dangerous people when it's like the difference between king snakes and coral snakes, or also (and I included this metaphor too) like trying to tell the difference between murderous orange fairies and Monarch Butterflies. Like... you've probably never seen such a fairy before but if there was proof that they existed, THEN Monarch Butterflies would suddenly become a lot more frightening despite being harmless ...unless you eat them... Monarch Butterflies are toxic to eat - fun little fact.
(Yeah, my post was well-researched and carefully relating similar ideas - the exact opposite of spam - but moderation is garbage around here - I'm going to say that every slightly relevant chance I get with how hard they lied to me, and the permanent black-marks they gave. It was actually a volunteer that did that but Support upheld it for years [kept appealing, eventually overturned, supposedly - seemed to lead to a downward spiral of marks - life experience tells me that even if it starts out unfair, once you're on the wrong side of authority, you'll always be on the wrong side of authority].)
