Okay, turns out this was actually two separate issues:
1: the trend window doesn't properly show the creation of resources, if they are immediately consumed
2: workers are collecting and storing resources for recipes, even when the recipe limited to a quantity and shouldn't be being produced

This needs to be done for the escort mission only, the other ones are a little harder to change in a way that makes sense.
Curently the clone gets paid with items and the pmc boss with trade points. I would modify some stuff to recive trade tokens or universal trade tokens like an item that gives 500 trade points no matter with what faction you trade it.

This is to have partial rewards for failed missions but this would definetly make the game too easy

Or you could just use the barricades yourself.
