you can go into the jobs section of a planet and manually decrease the amount of miners/farmers/technicians that pops can work by clicking the negative icons next to the respective jobs

You'll only respawn after a set amount of time. Death isn't an end, it's a new beginning. Like re-rolling your character because you got bad stats in D&D.

Better to use the tools you have, and make what you can; lest the next version of you forget or cannot.

There's already nothign I can do right? All I can do is game end and hope I dont' respawn.

The game is perfectionist torture.
Will get a 3* Blue spark, but the pink is 1 star
Will get 3* Pink but the Blue is 2*
Will get 3* Blue and 3* Pink, but the pink is PACE which you didn't want or need, instead of Medium or Long, and the green skill is only 1 star LOL. It never ends, perfection isn't happening
When the lucky RNG hits though , OH my it's bliss. Similar to farming MMOs for rare 0.1% drops. With a repertoire of 3 Star sparks you eventually get more powerful umas over time. That's what keeps the game play loop interesting for me but I understand how it can be frustrating
