If you have a decent computer you can easily handle 100-200 mods without impacting too much the performance. I would concentrate on very good mods and play through until you have really seen them in action.

With many mods the important thing is: Avoid Steam updates to mess-up your mod config by locking the manifest file and using SFSE to launch the game, so you can delay any updates until you want and continue playing waiting for the mods to be updated.

You are absolutely correct :) Good point and can't be mentioned enough for the new mod users out there who wonder why a game update breaks there sfse mods :)

Ancient Greece, is really really old. Its not hard to imagine a statue erected 400-1000 years before the time of the player character in the game, is now in ruins, and no longer represents its former glory. TQ1 is full of ancient dilapidated greek sights that the player visits haunted by ancient warriors resurrected as skeletons.

Currently the settlements and cities are already vibrant and colorful, the statues being the same would loose prominence by blending in rather than being depicted as the white marble we are familiar with in modern times. The ones in the cities are least up kept well instead of falling apart.

If anything, the fact that Stolos's dead wife's "statue" is identical to every other statue of a woman is a bigger fault. If she was bit by a gorgon snake and fell into a coma as she slowly turned to stone like Issa did, did Stolos pose her like a prop so she'd be in a nice position for him to stare at in grief after she finally turned to stone?

Queen Eranna's (the Gorgon) garden suffers the same issue with many of the statues of animals looking identical or in perfectly placed poses. Which wouldn't have happened if they were turned to stone naturally by a Gorgon.

It broke my immersion for 2 seconds before I said "who cares, the fact a gorgon was queen is cool!"

About Nysa I'm agree. I looks really weird.
About garden I a bit disagree:
Gorgon's snake and head of Gorgon itself it's different thing.
Gorgon snake poison is slow, Gorgon gaze works much more faster.
So Erana could to command tamer to force animal sit in pose she wanted, and after use Gorgon's head on them.

Don't update. It crashes the game lol.
