nah fam im kind of sick of devs trying to shoe horn in pop culture references or any kind of reference. If you game cant stand on its own two legs and has to pay homage for brownie points from the community. Your idea wasnt very good in the first place. Use your own ideas. Not someone elses.

If you want to be able to level past 12 the level uncap mod is an easy solution for the problem YOU have with the game. Larian capping the game at level 12 is not a problem at all in itself as most DnD adventures do not go past level 12 anyway. Larian just literally built the game like your average WotC adventure book, I don't know what's supposed to be more true to the source material than that.

BG3 is based on 5e so previous editions are irrelevant. You're making up a CR for a monster that doesn't exist in any official capacity, you're wrong about adventurers typically not being expected to face CR 20+ creatures at around level 12 when it happened multiple times in official content, you're wrong about what is canon or not (which changes based on editions), you don't understand that no matter how powerful the Netherbrain may be the party is able to overcome it by exploiting its weakness thanks to mythical artifacts and receiving substantial help, when we offer you an alternative to fix your problem with the game you dismiss it, basically you're acting like an overgrown child throwing a tantrum because you didn't get what you wanted.

Who even are you. Half the stuff doesn't make sense either.
- There is no such thing as AMD > Nvidia or vice versa, it comes down to specific cards within specific ranges and value for money. Both have good cards and bad cards.
- 16 GB VRAM is overkill and very uncommon. Also, VRAM is heavily impacted by the resolution you play at, so you can't make a blanket statement. Most people don't play at 4k res. It is not in a company's interest to push a game nobody can run.

You are within the minority, this post doesn't concern you.

Nvidia is a garbage company and yes I recommend AMD for both budget, med and high-end systems.

Unless you are claiming that the game is somehow cheating you (it isnt) then obviously your issue is a lack of game knowledge rather than "random BS".

Ace explained it comprehensively above, but I have to say that if you fired a single volley and landed 9 shells then you would almost certainly killed the DD if you had been using HE. The fact that you landed that many hits from that single volley suggests that the target must have been pretty close which in turn suggests you messed up on your positioning and/or were not paying attention to the map. Also, that single volley would have hit the same 1 or 2 sections of the hull which would have triggered full damage saturation for a lot of your hits.

Just to reiterate, you not understanding how the game works is not the same as "random BS". Maybe read the explanations above and you wont mess up like this in future.
