The reason why VAC ban exist also in Beta...... so option 1 you cant buy the game longer or option 2 u can buy but u are VAC Banned also.

I wanted to just make a shotgun appreciation post but i'm also curious what others enjoy.

The upgrades enable it to work around the usual weakness of shotguns, the low range. Plus once you get the penetration one at the end...it's a beautiful sight to see max shotguns blasting through huge crowds.

I want to give a special mention to the mine turret. While it doesn't scale well in later difficulties, it saved a lot of my early runs until i got more used to the game. Just put 2 on either side and you'll be good for a long while.

As for something i don't like. I gotta say i wasn't a fan of the one that buffs nearby turrets. I like it in theory but with slots being so severely limited, i'd rather just get direct damage one instead. Like instead of having 2 buffed turrets, i'd rather have 3 turrets. I can same the same for all the weaken, slow or cryo turrets. I just want direct damage.

So, I just finished the part where I go to level 3. Very early game.

If a person is exploring this facility and trying to find the way through, there is no chance that person would enter a random alien portal expecting it to get them where they need to go. That makes 0 sense.

Its a cool game so far. But that is just stupid
