I think the timed maps were perfectly fine, I did both blind on my first try. The first one in 7 minutes and the second one in 3 minutes. Since hordes don't spawn at all until the time limit runs out you can easily run through the stage grabbing everything not nailed down and push through quickly. The only real threat is if you struggle on any puzzles which isn't super likely for how small the maps are.

Definitely more map randomization, medium tier enemies, and rebalancing.

The order is
Biotech: It adds the most content and the genes added is a requirement for most alien race mods.
Royalty: This was the first DLC and is kinda light because they was testing the waters if people even wanted a DLC, We did. Also Psycic power are awesome.
Ideology: By the time you want this DLC you should have had several colonies. The point of this DLC is to change up the rules of what makes people happy/angry. Its for setting theme more than any thing else.
Anomoly should be one of the last you get only because what it adds tends to take over the game if you play with them. Even if the monsters disabled you still have access to the new weapon. but the main appeal is the monsters.

Odessey is too new for me to comfortably say where it should be slotted. I feel like the grav ship is very much like the Anomoly DLC in that it just takes over the entire run. Outside of the grav ship you get access to a shuttle that makes traveling around much easer even for vanilla colonies.

Is the completion record in the almanac (ie. 158/167 Cooked Dishes) a record of what's available in the game *right now* or is it a record of what will be available in the game on release? I'm doing some completion stuff while I work on getting tier 6 animals for every season and there are some numbers that are causing me to scratch my head.

I liked 2cp , I never understood why they removed it
