All the calculations should be done server-side. The wins, rolling on stats, event, everything.

The client should just be a graphical front-end.

Kernel-level anti-cheat doesn't make sense. IMO it's really just an excuse for spying.

Right now I am maxed out making money from every possible shopkeeper and pretty frustrated how little the shopkeepers have to offer me per day.. The liquor making would be fun but seems the most useless because the shopkeeper is so poor. There are always apartments with wine racks to empty, wash and sell which is the way faster. If you also do liquor yourself, the market guy runs out of money pretty fast and you have to wait several days to sell again.

The 2nd most useless is farming, if you sell orange mushrooms 2 market vendors they run out of money asap. Would be really handy otherwise. I noticed that a guy in the mines would buy a whole lot of green mushrooms, so I am expanding my mushroom farms. I have 8 terrariums and that is not nearly enough to farm mushrooms per day. Much more profitable and faster than working in the greenhouse. The next I will try potato farming. Potato farmer in the mines might also buy a huge amount of potatoes. But that will be a side business.

Mechanical parts are really handy, because you can always sell them to OneStop shop, or the Hardware guy so they act like a cash when buying new materials for the renovations. Making watches is a little bit more tricky but you can either sell them to One Stop shop or the Passmore. Making lockpics is quite boring.

I don't like the daily grind of earning real money which is done only by the crime but essential. Sending 200 scam letters will earn about 15 000 RM, takes several hours to print (in game) and will sentence you almost a day in prison.

I like how you a random person on the internet think they know how much is to much for the multi billion dollar company. Buddy Starfield has already paid its self off and has made a profit.

Sure it did, thats why Todd wont talk about it anymore, theres been no new content for a year, and Starfield is a no show at Gamescon.
