Key drops are entirely luck dependent tbh. I've had playthroughs were I practically drowned in them without grinding and others were I simply didn't get one until after Hydro despite some grinding.

Some of them are scammers, Some others are annoying, incomprehensible, and a-holes from other users. It was a rough year for me last year that some of them that where ''former'' friends or I thought there where my friends, I feeling kinda cheated by it.

tbh often tier 2 blue items are better than tier 1 purple ones

Try changing from the betas to go back to the new mlw and back to the old one. Should fix your issue.
