Hit the milestone today, and since they let us get some of the early battlegroups with it, haven't felt the need to spend any of it...particularly on skins for the tiny on field troops and vehicles. :-(

There are three places you can scan a multipurpose room. The game gives you beacons to all of them.

It's literally the same in all gacha games with PvP, people at the top of the ladder are being given a meaningless amount of currency compared to what they've spent to get there. They only care about titles/banners to show off, more than getting $3 worth of gems. You always have some F2P'er oddities that will waste their lives away to get those $3 and be able to say "see I didn't spend and I could do it", but is that really worth anyone's time? I don't think so. So just cruise in Class 4~ and don't look at top spenders really. You can still clear the story / enjoy all events just fine even if there's a gap.

It's not really my issue if you don't understand what a gambling game is and how wealth gaps affect it. Uma is great cuz of the horse girls, story and gameplay loop but the gacha design favors the wealthy.

And how is that done at your expense? Nobody said that wealthy players weren't favoured, I just said that it doesn't really affect you.

If anything, the "wealthy" are the ones subsidizing the game so you can play for free. If nobody would be spending, you wouldn't be playing either and the game would be dead or just of much lower quality (worse VA, no live events/concerts etc.)

The "gap" in umamusume is meaningless, this isn't like some MMO where paid players are farming you day in day out, preventing you to play the game. Whales in this game won't affect your ability to play and enjoy the game.
