Correct however Newbies have no ( well had no clue ) what the could find which made opening Chests that delightful.

yea new player here and the best i hope from chest is new gem (spell thing) so yea... like the chests that are not in mini dungeons/combat rooms dont even have that many resourcess (i have 6 h played and im taking it slow , im at the toxic place now) . also the loot points most feel like re-skins from the previous zones

is it just me or does everything in the game feel so fast the running around the city and the fighting hard to see

This is why we can't take you seriously. Even if this version has some bugs, it is nowhere as unstable as the GOG version, which needs a literal 9-page fix guide that only resides in the Internet Archive because the original site is down.

Lmao, I like how it's clear you've never ran the GoG version so you take some random guide showing how to run the game better as proof the game doesn't run?
NWN2 Complete runs absolutely FINE on my Intel computer, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lol. Did you forget the game is decades old?
At least you don't have to worry about increased load times like in EE and you're making it seem like there aren't guides for how to get very basic features in this guide functioning, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lol.

I love how indepth you can build something for the most part. However i do have a gribe with once you reach the limit of 100 parts you cant really switch a part for another one easily and for some reason interior designs COUNT towards that limit so if you decide youre done with your corvette and want to design the interior, better be completly settled on the corvette or youll need to remove all the interior designs you did as it just counts towards the max complexity for some reason and editing the ship afterwards is done done easily.

Id really wish interior designs (such as chairs, beds ect) NOT to impact the overall complexity of the corvettes build as thats a real hassle if you wanna change stuff around the exterior design of it. Personally id love for the max to be upped by 50 more parts as larger builds can look a bit more barren due to the limit but Im enjoying the update despite that annoying part of it.
But PLEASE change that interior impact, thats very annoying.

solo is very niche and only people that play particular characters will likely get any fun out of it. the game is designed and balanced around team play. now when you play solo and all the sudden you are an engage character or a character meant to jump on back line and there's no front line to bar you from doing so, then you have a mode that will start having a very nice meta that will only be comprised of a few characters that are viable while the rest aren't and are insta losses.

i saw someone else point this out before and after playing a couple of matches to test it then i can see it. mages and marksmen classes don't stand a chance, for the most part. and supports obviously mind as well taken from the select screen and tanks are also a waste of space. generally, you play a bruiser if you realistically want to win.

this mode will have to have huge balance updates if they decide to keep it. and i don't know if they can because a lot of the balancing has to do with characters' kit.

Oooh! I found out what is going on. The game is not using the default audio device. In my case, it was trying to use the digital output instead of the analog one. I managed to switch it outside of the game and now it works :)

Will you explain how you did it? I tried switching between analog and digital output but still no sound in the game on Linux

I think not having parts in inventory at all would be better. Like how Starfield does it. You buy the parts in the designer. If you do happen to find a great part, it unlocks access to it in the designer and does not go into your inventory. Making them inventory items is quite tedious and annoying.
