Yeah, can't forget "more damage and health doesn't equal difficulty" argument.
Like why? If you get hit - you made a mistake. Higher difficulty means you aren't allowed to make any and have to play almost perfect. If that's what you want.
And 99% of games increase difficulty by adding health, damage, enemy spawns, etc.

More hp and damage isn't a bad thing its just lazy and I do agree with that sentiment, HOWEVER it is still difficulty and it works really well in MH than any other IP I am aware of. But I do not think its a bad way to enforce difficulty and you are 100% right, you should be punished for making mistakes, if you make a mistake your punishment for making that mistake would and will be harsh in later fights of the game, the factor people are on this forum talking like "bro monsters have 1 shot combos you can't dodge" is insanity to me and pure cope, like my guy, you got a solid selection of weapons that can block and jewel slots to help survive and dodge.

so when i upgrade from windows 10 to 11, the game stutters like crazy below 60 fps, my specs are gtx 1050 3gb vram, intel i5 9th gen and i have 8 gb of RAM. any solutions? thanks

Confirmed as well on a new save. Stuck at 0 despite getting at least the required amount regardless of stone axe or iron axe.
