That's not remotely how it works.

90% of players are unaware you can turn around to see the trapper or flamer or whatever coming up behind you, or to see your teammate getting swamped and falling behind, so the net thing doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

Yes. I am a 25K Hour ARK player. SoulMask is a different take on pvp survival/craft. It is great. Try an unofficial server as they have boosted farming rates etc.

I love him. Often times he appears just when I need to stuff him with random items I've been holding onto. Between him and the void box, I've had a lot of time to just explore and accumulate items.

Honestly I agree with the OP about the hotbar, they're trying too hard to simplify, I feel like this is the grounded equivalent of going from Sims 3 to Sims 4 and it's tragic. I also loved being able to assign hotbar slots based off of consumable type, now I've got set all of it manual. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Also am I alone with my unhappiness with the "omni-tool"?? The bug tools were so much cooler, now it's just some weird tool that sounds like a pump drawing in air as you swing.

I am cool with the omni-tool. I just want to be able to scroll to choose between my tools without having to go into a wheel or my inventory. Once I set them to a hotspot I am good-to-go.

I don't know man, Threat 5 and 6 kind of kick my ass.

EA's current set of studios are incapable of working on a new C&C game that isn't just mobile slop, hence my previous suggestion that they should sell the IP. Whoever ends up buying it will likely retell the story of C&C95 through a continuity reboot, I think.

I don't know of any way to make a townsperson the sacrifice. As you surmise, luring animals is one way to do it.
