You are aware that grounded 1 is also using UE5 these days?
It has literally nothing to do with the engine, but rather the features being used - Grounded 2 uses Lumen and Nanite to improve visuals as well as higher quality textures, and none of those come for free, they require better hardware if you want the same FPS at the same quality settings.

On top of that, optimizing a game more then necessary in the development phase is absolute foolishness, because they will end up wasting a lot of their time making optimizations that will be lost the next time they add onto the game.

I also noticed how you completely ignored my very good point about you expecting too much, as proven by the fact that you yourself have said that dropping your settings to high (Like I explicitly told you to do) fixed your 40 fps.

Anyone with half a bit of knowledge about games knows that the highest setting for a newly released game will require high-end hardware, and sometimes wont run well even then.
But no, the fact you cant blast max settings is totally because the game is unoptimized, and not because your hardware cant handle it (After all, me and my 4090 with buttery smooth 60fps are clearly just being shills for UE5....)

Dude. Are you feeling well? Seems to me that not.
There is only graphics presets Low/Normal/High/Epic. There is no advanced options so I could manually tune shadows, reflections, DLSS, FrameGen (oh, sorry, there is none), anisotropic filtering etc. I cannot even figure out what causing such a low FPS. Do you get it?
So what are you even talking about? Are you trying to convince me that 150+ FPS on my rig in Witcher 3 on max settings is worse than 40FPS in this game with cartoonish graphics? Sorry, I'm not buying that BS.
And what's you rig, mate? I bet 14900+RTX5090 playing at 4K with 200+ FPS, don't you?
