This is not accurate over all. People want to win, in every game, that is just a basic fundamental.

And this game is a game of interlinked team play, cooperation is everything. This is also a game of seconds.

QP is definitely more forgiving on learning characters and tactics, people are also going for certain challenges for the battle pass, etc.

However, due to the games design, someone just innocently sitting in spawn for 3 extra seconds every time they die can be critical to winning or losing. There will always be people that take it too serious or not serious enough, but over all i have had good experiences.

And most people if you communicate are open minded. It is a small minority that wants to automatically do the opposite, or crash out like a toddler.

Same problem with me... In the tutorial and in the game

It can't have been the Realistic preset. If they were using a third person camera, it was either a different preset or a custom difficulty with that enabled

Well, it is not as high level player is infested by Titan units. There IS something to be said about the use as gut punches though and High Explosive in the factory (which was recently nerfed and needs to be observed yet, in my opinion).

There was a suggestion regarding gut punches that I liked, and that would be to use the same first round teleport animation that there is on the flanks when you first place a titan unit anywhere. That would be a good way to at least diminish their capability to end the game as a surprise deployment.

Now if you are talking about normal Giants, you are a year or so behind. It is already accepted by most people including devs that they are balanced. They are way more expensive but scale better than smaller units, as they should. They should be part of your end game compositions if your game lasts that long. If you plan on keeping investing in lower tier units you should press for tempo and try to end the game faster, because they will be outscaled otherwise. That is good design as it allows for both tempo based rush strategies and defensive late game scaling strategies as well.

I’ve managed a workaround in the meantime. I discovered that launching the AC6 app directly from its file location, rather than steam, doesn’t launch EAC. This allows me to play the game offline, hallelujah!

Glad you can at least play, still sucks that they left the game in a broken state for some OSes.

lock your framerate ingame @100fps and use low-settings.

Game hangs before the title screen for me. Sometimes I get an error saying out of video memory other times it hard crashes the PC. Found deleting the configs folder in appdata lets me play the game and it even relaunches normally until I change the graphics settings too much. I'm thinking there's a bug there somewhere, i'll keep changing settings one at a time until I can replicate a crash.
