It takes a full charge to kill one big guy, me having to carry around a fully charged laser collector isn't ideal at all, to kill 2 big people it would take all the second lot of charge and then what??? then wind up energy pistol is also insanely rubbish to charge it takes far too long to even get a full charge, no gun should take 5 minutes of winding in a game.

Assault is good, but flawed. It's particularly good against tyranids, but has issues with chaos and pretty much is completely reliant on vanguards healing perk in order to reach it's full potential.

Even with the squad benefits the assault is nothing compared to a heavy class.
