Fighter/Paladin Outweighed Still.

In some ways, the aggro on fighter skills is a damage boost. Divine wants enemies to stand in the middle of it so getting them to do that is useful. Taunt is a cross class skill to be fair and everyone can use it, but it pairs well with stomp to pull enemies in, lower def, then hit them with a bit AoE and further lower def.

Maybe it's just my mentality here. But I guess I kinda of 'wrote off' thinking like this because Aggro never really seemed to work when I tried it. I tried to play more a role of a 'tank' before the last big patch and it just never really worked. The most success I had was making a 'glass cannon' fighter (str: high/vit:low), but even then I wouldn't say I could hold aggro, nor really steal aggro from others.

Though I guess it makes sense people see fighter as the tank because of this. In my mind, though, that's not actually how anything works. Functionally, the classes just don't work this way.

Like it always is. Most people, including Chinese players didn't care about the supposedly problematic elements, it's just that screeching minority cried long and hard enough to probably trigger the changes. Whether it happened due to CCP or the devs themselves getting scared of the backlash, we will never know.
