This command does work for other games but it doesn't function for games that need an external launcher (EA app, Ubi Connect, rockstar games launcher, etc).

I managed to get Siege to launch from steam (but actually play the connect version) by just adding a SHORTCUT of the RainbowSix.exe as a non-steam game. The game launches just fine and the steam overlay works as intended.

so when i started the game, i got like 6 headshots and then that was it, no more headshots, no matter what i do, i can't get any headshots.
is it just me, or anyone else having this issue ?

If you know anyone who works in a data centre go ahead and ask them if they have ever heard of anyone who has repasted the CPU on a server.
Just be prepared for the look they give you.

Just a small addon: in chapter 13 there are two battles and you need to choose one. One of them requires no undead presence... and it's in the slums, blocking my usual route as i had my army on the other side ;-;
HOWEVER - townspeople and guards only react to you committing the crime of 'leading undead minions' and not to the minions. So with convoluted sneaking this engine wasn't built for i managed to get through one secret tunnel, into my house and then through its basement onto the other side.
That might get fixed in the future though and i doubt the dev will give us cardboard box armors for sneaking skeletons through lol
