It's like having a layout of where all your enemies are, I think it would be cool for people who have hearing disabilities but for everyone else it would give them an unfair advantage.
wut? The trick of the tool is to enable you to "see sound". This means if you can't naturally hear them, they won't appear on the radar. What makes this radar near 100% useless is that it picks up on all sound. This means that in an unorganized game of counter strike or in the explosive game of COD, there will be so much sound everywhere that it will render the radar entirely useless.
The only time this radar will be useful is in a 1v1 match up or when you are the only person alive.
not sure what you all got excited about
wut?
never EVERYone has it . and asus wanted patent on it so other manufacturer cant even copy.
no everyone goin to have asus hardware neither.
we play with the rules the game has set as it been released.
blablalba emotions emotions..
That's where it gives an advantage, it cuts through all the sound in game and shows you where your enemies are. Think of the CSGO radar but instead of enemies position disappearing it constantly shows where enemy positions are. I watched a different video when I first heard about this on SPUF, but I can't seem to find it now and in that video the devs said you can set it up the way you want to and ONLY show certain sounds. This means you can set it up to only show enemy position (foot steps) or just pin point certain sounds. So the player can basically see where all enemies are that are making sounds.
It may not be a massive advantage, but an advantage non the less.
Yep, it's like saying people with surround sound 5.1 speakers are cheating because they got better speakers than those with 2.1 speakers.
this is a myth!
u hear the best with good 2.1 speakers and a secondary mic. i speak about good headphones - begins somewhere by 80 dollars. u can build the best headset by ur own for hundred bucks - and its better than all "gamer headsets". with a good soundcard u can hear even more. but if the degree/angle of the sound is shown in the radar, its unfair, line up ur pov into the direction the radar shows and ur on the target. imagine how u would feel hiding behind a box, making a sound and i instant headshot u through box. or even wall?
as i mentioned: ask urself what decent people can do with this engine. i can imagine the "polish guy" would be happy with hacking this radar engine for his own purposes.
It could be considered as someone in a ford focus having a race against someone in a Porsche
The person in the Porsche spent more of his cash to get the advantage.
If you look at the price of these motherboards you'd only buy them is you really want them...
Its like saying someone who uses a keyboard with macro's or a mouse with a sniper button a cheater
Plus I have the maximus vi hero and it is kind of annoying, most of the time you see it jumping every which way because of the firefights. You see your shots, your teammates shots, everything. It will only really give you any advantage on a 1v1 situation if you are lucky
