How do I know if I got vac banned?
https://imgur.com/a/YAFZdV3 I love them so much btw, but I want to know if it’s gonna kick me out the game, because sometimes I swear on vc games and I have no idea if I’m gonna get vac banned

But I want to know if my account gets vac banned what will happen? And can vac banned people still even download or update games since I know it’s like an online restriction. I’m very curious about vac bans since I only heard about them recently

Does the game in question use VAC? Are you altering the game's files?

If the answer to both is yes, then eventually you'll get VAC banned. If either answer is no then you have nothing to worry about from VAC.

Also note that game bans can happen for reasons other than cheating.

Sorry I have a lot of questions that the guide doesn’t seem to answer,

1. So I heard you can get banned from being toxic or something? Would that ban end up being on your account? Let’s say I was being toxic in cs2 for example

2. And I heard unturned has those bans, so if I joined someone’s unturned world and they got mad could they end up giving me the ban on profile?

3. Also how do you know if a game uses vac secure servers? Or do you never really know?

Oh, and in regards to what you wrote on your profile, you likely gave away some of your account info somewhere. Take the following steps to secure your account:

1. Scan for malware. https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.
3. Deauthorize all other devices. https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a clean computer.
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App. https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key (there should be no key). https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey

Doing that will at least make your account secured again. I don't know if the login requests will completely stop though.

3) This links to which games use VAC: https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/571A-97DA-70E9-FF74#vacgames

1) That would be a game ban. Yes it's shown on your profile just like VAC bans are. Unlike VAC bans they don't disappear to other users after seven years.

2) Other players can only report you for being toxic (or violating the game's rules in some other way). They can't issue any bans. They could kick you and ban you from private servers they run though (and can do so at whim if they choose so since they own the server).
