Vac ban revoke?

Is it possible that after 5 years my vac ban can be revoked because i have no clue on what i got vac banned on and i wanted to play csgo yet again but because of the vac ban i can not play on this account wich dissapoints me a bit

Possible, yes.
Is it going to happen? Almost certainly not.

All VAC bans are constantly checked and verified. A false positive this old is literally unheard of. The oldest reversed VAC ban i know of was six months old. And that one was already an extreme outlier where i'd normally say that this ban is legit and never be removed.

Same with your case. The ban is permanent. It will not be removed.

Who used your account to cheat is irrelevant. You are responsible for the security of your account and ALL actions on it.

You're better off creating a new account. This ban will never be lifted.

Also, you won't be able to play CS2 on this account, at least not on official servers.

No. The ban is permanent until deemed incorrect. In which case, the ban would be automatically lifted. You cannot demand or expedite such an investigation. It is done by the VAC team on the regular. VAC works by signature. Same wrong signature = same unban. No individual unbans.

The answer hasn't changed over years. If it was a mistake, it would be automatically removed very long time ago.

there are only normal users here, there is no need to post about bans.

I mean, you never know, policies do change, maybe the company just unbans everything, or gets sold, maybe some hacker un bans everyone .. maybe AI takes a second look at all VAC bans and decided your was not very serious and lifts it.

Maybe some dude who works at steam is emotional due to a sweet movie, they read your post and just unban.

One thing everyone here agrees on is, the squeaky wheel gets the grease, a motto to live by, a motto than even a whole kingdom can be held together by.

they already tried temp bans, they didnt work. the policy is not going to change to make things easier on cheaters.

The only things you can do about your ban are make a new account and stop cheating.
