Is Comdo Antiviuris and firewall vac safe?
I recently got hacked and I've been feeling paranoid about the safety of my PC and accounts, particularly my Steam account. So, I installed Bitdefender for the firewall, but I also want to install Comodo. However, I'm concerned about how it interacts with VAC because it reads stuff and blocks services. Has anyone else used Comodo before? Is it safe?

You haven't been hacked, you can only gain access if you give your data somewhere, so no antivirus program would help you.

It's like installing a thick security door and then placing the key on the floor in front of it, ready to hand.

if your security software interferes with VAC, you just won't be allowed to connect to multiplayer games secured by VAC systems.

that will be your own problem to process. A better antivirus / firewall will protect against malware threats.

but a phishing attack targets the person. you are the vulnerability in a phishing attack.

This was the old, old article about Programs Which May Interfere with Steam...

And the current one...

There use to be issues but they were not VAC related.
