VAC3?

Should there be a VAC3? VAC2 was released three years after VAC1, and it stayed that way for a very long time. Will there be another big VAC update again sometime?

Edit: I found out that VAC2 isn't 64-bit. This should be something to consider for VAC3.

Some additional modulary Functions added to VAC2 are considered and named VAC3 by Insiders, officially VAC3 doesnt exists.

VAC3 considered Functions:
- Hashing MAC and IP addresses (for detecting multiple Accounts and linking them)
- WINAPI Anti-Hooks
- DNS Cache Spying (for detecting Subscription Cheats)
- Experimental Ring 0 detection
- NTFS-Journal and Filename checking
- Open File Mapping (can also send whole Files to Server for later manual viewing)

Especially the DNS Cache Spying and sending of whole Files to Server is currently considered a Privacy Breach, because its theoretically possible to steal Files with secret or privat Content or checking what Domains you visit and map your behaviour. Also some other Functions are currently reviewed for possible Security Holes that could be mis-used by Criminals.

But to be fair VAC is not the only Product with those Issues, many so called Anti-Cheats runs into those Issues, because to compete with the bad guys they are forced to use the same tactics, which becomes more and more dangerous. Also VAC is not considered part of the most intrusive ones.
